Starting this month, in each quarterly newsletter we will be featuring an organization and/or community leader who is partnering with DIP-IN. Let’s give a big virtual round of applause to Teddrick (Tedd) Hardy! Tedd leads No Days Off 317 (NDO) and is president of Belmont Beach & Friends.
He has increased community engagement and started various activities in the Near West. Not only has he made an impact for Near West residents, but he has always put this community first. From hosting a kickball series to movie nights at Belmont Beach and having the mayor in attendance, he’s done it all!
If you haven’t been to a Tedd Hardy event, now is the time to do so! The attention Belmont Beach has received lately has contributed to the Haughville Riverfront Vision Plan. Part of this vision plan includes adding on to and transforming Belmont Beach and Reverend Mozel Sanders Park.
The other plan is to have Floodplain Forest and River Station become open public spaces. Be on the lookout for more activities from NDO and Belmont Beach & Friends through their social media. You can follow Tedd’s social media on Instagram and Facebook - @teddhardy @ndo_317 @belmontbeachproject
